Another days

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

Hearing the blah blah blah from the auditing teacher,
My heart felt hurt…
To save my spirit,

I’d like to post some old photos here I took weeks ago on a fashion show. Also because I don’t think VC would check my blogger blog(http://swagmangoing.blogspot.com/).It’s hard to move to another blog coz your friends always click the old link.It would be easier if they use RSS to feed my sites. It seems that not many of my friends have a habit to use RSS.I’m using
Google Reader(And of course you need a google account first)now to read the subscribed websites I’m interested in.It’s convenient and makes sure that I can get the update at the first moment.
It’s like you can stick anything you like on a newspaper page and the page came to your door every morning.Friends can share pages with each other as well.

Ah Training!

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

My first week training finished yesterday with a glad mood to say bye to the auditing teacher.(I just love Friday) It proved that I didn’t feel any achievement but waste of time, which is what most of my colleagues felt.I have to start studying the CPA now when there are 56 days left to the exam.I’m sure I will fall behind next week training.

Before that I’d like to post several photos I took weeks ago on a fashion show. They seem have stayed in my laptop too long…

Days

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

Haibin,Hui,Fu,Shuang and Hao came to my home yesterday.Mother cooked the dinner for us.Al seemed happy to see my clubmates coming, especially get to speak English with someone except me and be able to have beers. They are like sisters and brothers to me.

I will go to the training program tomorrow, after three weeks’ laziness from it.
Haven’t studied CPA yet.I nearly forgot I will have that discusting exam in September.I’ve been viewing nice photography websites, reading those thoughtful words and searching the philosophy in photography.Thinking of that I won’t afford the time to photograph after starting work, frustration came to my mind.Maybe that’s because I don’t have confidence in the future days in pwc.I always think I will feel desprate to offer what can be contributive and what I can give might be useless to the organization.

Maybe the future would be depression.

Stunt Photographer Li Wei

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Chinese artist Li Wei from Beijing started off his performance series “Mirroring” and later on took off attention with his “Falls” series which shows the artist with his head and chest embedded into the ground. His work is a mixture of performance art and photography that creates illusions of a sometimes dangerous reality. Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages but works with the help of props such as mirror, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics.
“My work and artistic experience are characterised by a unique specificity and particularity. My artistic language is universal and deals with themes about contemporary politics and society using symbols understood by everyone in every part of the world. I am fascinated by the unstable and dangerous sides of art and I hope my works reflect these aspects.” says the 37-year-old artist.

Back from Shenyang

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Having spent a week in Shenyang visiting relatives door by door, we now come back to the home in Dalian.I took many pictures with my 40D while the weather in Shenyang didn’t give me much good mood to capture more interesting stuffs in the street. It was so hot in Shenyang that I wondered how I had been through 20 years there when thinking of those hot days in classrooms at school.

Despite visiting relatives, we went to Zhao Ling which is an imperial cemetery for the first emperor of Qing Dynasty. We also went to an antique shop near my uncle’s where Al bought his mother a Chinese fan. But we didn’t go into Da Shuai Fu(Marshal Mansion) because we thought the 50 yuan ticket/person was not worthy. So we just walked around the house and actually I liked the sorrounding old buildings much. After that,we went to a Catholic church nearby. On the last night in Shenyang, we had a meal with two of my clubmates.Al’s upset stomach obviously didn’t ruin his day even when we seemed to spend for a while in the shopping center.:-) We did see many interesting things there.

I got some oppotunities to take good photos.I made my cousin to be my model again in my uncle’s house.(Al just complained that he didn’t get to tell my uncle’s many things lack of my translation coz I was takin pictures at that time!) Anyway, I got some good ideas to set up a connection between the model and the enviroment to produce a beautiful effect but what the shame is the shutter speed was not high enough in the lighting to get focused photos. Moreover I have no tripod. So when I viewed the photos on the screen, very very few “qualified” pictures were there.

Other than the photos of my cousin, I got several lovely pictuers of an one month old kitty who has a tiger-like body.:-) It’s my neighbour’s new cat.

More photos could be found in my deviantart.

Finally here is a photo of my boy.
